Katrina Petty
Katrina Petty is the Director of Operations at Concept Design, LLC. In her role, she oversees
the day-to-day operations of the design studio, providing clients with assistance in obtaining
building permits, creating marketing content, and handling finances. Her dedication to helping
others and providing exceptional customer service has been the driving force behind her
success.
With practical conflict resolution skills, Katrina always seeks ways to improve the client
experience, ensuring they are satisfied with Concept Design, LLC’s services. She provides
leadership, coordination, organization, and management to ensure the successful,
cost-effective, timely, and safe processing of clients’ and teams’ needs.
In addition to her role, Katrina serves as Vice Chair for the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD). She represents a crucial segment of the organization, pivotal in steering the chapter’s strategic initiatives and contributing to AIBD’s broader goals. This role highlights her commitment to building design and her ability to influence industry standards and practices.
Katrina’s expertise extends across various areas, including business management, marketing,
and graphic design, and she has a strong background in event planning, including experience as a
wedding planner.

She is self-motivated and has an inner hunger to learn, grow, explore, and hone her skills, which makes her a valuable asset to the Concept Design team.
Katrina grew up in Whatcom County and earned an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Whatcom Community College, focusing on Hospitality and Tourism Business Management.
She also obtained a certificate in Quickbooks, which helped her develop her finance management skills. At WCC, she held the position of Special Events Coordinator on the campus Program and Diversity Board.
Fun fact: she was part of the team that organized the Macklemore performance at WCC!
When Katrina isn’t immersed in her work, she cherishes her moments with her vibrant family, which includes her boyfriend, his two sons, and her three spirited children. Their lively household is a center of affection, laughter, and personal development. Beyond her family life, Katrina indulges in her passions for literature, live music, cinema, and gardening at their idyllic farmhouse in the county. She also enjoys unleashing her creativity through various art projects, fully embracing the breadth of her artistic talents.
