Interior Design

Our design team is here to help navigate the sometimes overwhelming tasks, including your type of interior finishes, down to every last detail. We aim to transform your vision into a reality.  Your interior should be tailored to your lifestyle. A well-designed interior helps you achieve any vision you may have for your home. We can assist you in selecting the perfect look for your home.

If you’re not sure where to begin, we’ll gladly guide you through the process.

The design process involves solving problems.

In keeping with our overall design focus, we believe that all good design starts with a plan. Before builders break ground, our team is dedicated to answering the questions on paper. In the end, time and money are saved as fewer (if any) decisions need to be made on site. Our resources will enable you to make your ideas a reality, regardless of what they are.

Interior design is about much more than just making a space look pretty

it’s about creating a functional and beautiful environment that suits your lifestyle and personality. At Concept Design LLC, we understand that every project is unique, which is why we work closely with our clients to create personalized design solutions. Our team of expert designers draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including art, history, and psychology, to create spaces that are not only visually stunning but also highly functional and tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking to spruce up a single room or undertake a full home renovation, our team is here to help you achieve your vision.

Space
When considering how space influences your interior design, it’s important to take into consideration two-dimensional space (which includes the length and width of a room) and three-dimensional space (which provides height). When working in a two-dimensional space, one should consider rugs, carpets, wall coverings, and other objects that sit flush with their surface. When working in three-dimensional space, adding new shelving and furniture incorporates volume into your project.
Forms
Forms can be used to communicate the overarching theme of your design. The form typically describes objects that occupy three-dimensional space. There are three dimensions of an object: height, width, and depth. Many individuals are familiar with these three dimensions as a common way to communicate the overall occupied space of an object. Its significance grows as we consider its importance in interior design.
Color
Again, color theory is a topic one could write an entire book about (and many have). The strategic use of color in a space can help unite the various components you’re bringing together. With colors of various hues and shades and varying degrees of saturation, their implementation can significantly alter how the viewer perceives the size and tone of the space.
Light
Think of task lighting as the overall bright light used in office buildings and spaces whose sole purpose is to create an energized and productive atmosphere. This sort of lighting is necessary to consider if your residential design project includes a home office or kitchen remodel. These spaces that aren’t intended to be used to rest and relax benefit from its bright light to focus and be productive.

Accent lighting is the only category of lighting that falls into the category whose sole purpose is aesthetics. This form of lighting is typically much brighter than ambient lighting. It is used to highlight a particular feature, such as a piece of artwork, architectural details, or furnishings that the designer wants to draw attention towards.

Ambient lighting floods a room with uniform light. This flooding of light can impact the overall look of a room and dramatically affects the projected tone. Ambient lighting is best utilized on a dimmer switch to adjust as needed throughout the day and well into the twilight hours.
Pattern
Repetition in design is known as a pattern. The pattern adds an overall appeal to the space and can reinforce the character and mood the designer and client are aiming for. Examples of patterns can be seen in textiles, wallpapers, and carpeting. (These objects may have stripes or themes in various styles that involve geometric or organic shapes.)
